Darrell Arnold, an award winning poet and songwriter, was an associate editor at Western Horseman magazine for 5 years and then launched his own publication Cowboy Magazine which ran nearly 18 years. He began writing poetry in the early 90's and is the author of another award winner, his poetry book A Bard in Boots.
